Seriously, I tought the difference would be even greater, because Camaros are quite a rare sight, and Mustangs are everywhere. used Challenger hold their value really well

It’s only because Canadians are cheap people (I know because I’m Canadian and I’m cheap). The mustang is the cheapest of the bunch with the best financing rates and is often heavily discounted. You can get a mustang for thousands less than the competition.

I figure it has to do with where the models are on the patented New-Hotness scale. The Mustang is an all-new car, and is therefore at the top of the scale for 2015, the Challenger had a pretty big refresh and is riding the Hellcat publicity wave, putting it somewhere in the middle of the scale, and the current Camaro has now been overshadowed by the upcoming model, dropping it to the bottom of the scale.
